Roasted Sweet Paprika Pumpkin and Sesame Seeds (Served with a Slice of Goat Cheese, Truffle Honey and Raspberry)
Roasted Sweet Paprika Pumpkin and Sesame Seeds
1 c. Raw, shelled pumpkin seeds
1/8 c. Sesame seeds
1 T. Sugar
½ tsp. Sweet paprika
Preheat oven to 400^. Toss all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix well. Pour onto a parchment covered cookie sheet and spread into a thin layer making sure the ingredients are close together. Bake for 15 min. Let cool before placing into an air tight container.
Slice a small wedge of fresh goat cheese sprinkle with pumpkin mixture, top with a juicy raspberry and drizzle with honey (or better yet, truffle honey!) Cheese is always my preferred dessert!
These seeds are incredible as an ice cream or yogurt topper!
